Getting Closer to Deployment

Well, it is getting closer to deployment.  Looking forward to taking some leave to go see my parents before I leave.  Have received word from my advanced party that there is plenty to do there, and should not need much extra.  Traveling light will prove to be an advantage.  Trying to avoid having to go on an exercise which would make me miss NYE...not cool before deploying.  Will know more in the next day or so.

Pre-Deployment

I was informed of the impending deployment on some idol weekday back in April.  Was supposed to deploy to OIF in October, but now on delay until January 2010...more to follow, but if the jack-assery that I have already experienced is any indication of the next year, it will be nothing short of a great time.
